Roller derbyn kevään alkeiskurssi alkaa sunnnuntaina 9.3.2025 ja päättyy 25.5.2025. Luistelu- ja tekniikkaharjoitukset ovat kahdesti viikossa; torstaisin klo 20-22 ja sunnuntaisin klo 17.30-19:30 Keltakankaan liikuntahallilla. Lisäksi alkeiskurssiin kuuluu teoriatunteja, joissa käsitellään roller derbyn sääntöjä.
Alkeiskurssilla harjoittelemme luistelua quad-luistimilla, turvallista kaatumista ja jarrutuksia. Lisäksi opiskelemme roller derby -pelin perusteet.
Voit hankkia roller derby varusteet itse tai lainata alkeiskurssin ajan varusteita seuraltamme. Varusteita ovat: quad-malliset rullaluistimet, multi-impact mallinen kypärä sekä roller derbyyn sopivat kyynär-, polvi- ja rannesuojat ja hammassuojat. Aloituspaketit ovat hinnaltaan 210 eurosta ylöspäin.
Varusteet täytyy hankkia netistä, sillä Suomessa ei ole tällä hetkellä liikkeitä, jotka myisivät quad-luistimia. Myös Facebookin Derbykirppis Rollaattori-ryhmästä voi ostaa varusteita käytettyinä. Jos varusteiden hankkimisesta herää kysymyksiä, autamme mielellämme. Voit ottaa meihin yhteyttä sosiaalisen median kautta tai sähköpostitse.
Roller derbyn alkeiskurssin hinta on 60 euroa. Maksu kattaa harjoitukset ja teoriatunnit sekä seuran jäsenyyden loppuvuodeksi. Järjestämme myös ajoittain tapahtumia, joihin olet alkeiskurssilaisena tervetullut. Seuran jäsenenä saat ostettua merchejä jäsenhintaan ja olet äänioikeutettu yhdistyksen kokouksissa.

Beginners’ course Spring 2025
Start a new hobby!
Roller derby beginners’ course starts on Sunday March 9th, 2025 and ends on May 25th, 2025.
During the course we will have skating and technique training twice a week; on Thursdays from 8 to 10 p.m. and on Sundays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Keltakangas sports hall. In addition, the beginners’ course includes a few theory lessons, where we learn the rules of roller derby.
In the beginners’ course, we practice skating with quad skates, safe falling and braking. We will also get familiar with the basics of playing roller derby.
You can get the equipment yourself or borrow equipment from our league during the beginners’ course. Equipment includes: quad model roller skates, multi-impact model helmet, elbow, knee and wrist protectors and dental guards suitable for roller derby. Starter packages are priced from 210 euros upwards.
There are currently no shops in Finland that sell quad skates, so new equipment needs to be ordered online. You can also buy used roller derby gear from the Derbykirppis Rollaattori group on Facebook. If you have any questions about purchasing equipment, we are happy to help. The price for the roller derby beginners’ course is 60 euros. The fee covers training and theory lessons, as well as club membership for the spring. We also organize events from time to time, to which as a beginner course student you are welcome. As a member of the club, you can buy merch at the membership price and you are entitled to vote at the leagues’ meetings.
